a stay in Keyhaven on or around the first anniversary of your wedding brings with it a gourmet picnic hamper with our compliments . (Minimum stay three nights for this offer. Subject to availability).
Keyhaven enjoys the same stunning views as Hurst, across the lawns of the house with its chestnut beech and willow trees, and in spring the ornamental cherry right outside Keyhaven’s windows seems to fill the room with its spectacular blossom. From these windows the daytime vista of water traffic , changes at dark to a twinkle of lights from the fishing vessels sailing out to find their catch, and from the Lymington/Yarmouth ferry that provides the local link to the Isle of Wight. Drinking water. All our tap water is potable. We do not store water in tanks in the loft and the cold comes straight off the rising main. Our modern water softener is similar (except for size) to those used by the hospitals so there is no health risk to guests such that some of the older types may present.

A modern wireless fire alarm system helps to keep us all safe.

And the view:- with the Solent below the many yachts are already out and about sporting a mass of colour as they fly their huge spinnakers ; the Lymington ferry marches back and forth to Yarmouth, and the occasional very large ship passes through; birds abound, some taking residence, and deer may be seen browsing in the arable land that runs alongside our eastern boundary.

Having agreed an approximate time for your arrival the gates will generally be open at this time. At night and during daylight hours when we are 'out' or somewhere in the grounds the gates will usually be closed. On arrival guests have the use of a radio control button for the duration of their stay to allow vehicular ingress and egress. Pedestrian access is through a side gate at the top of the Vicarage Drive (the property next door whose drive we share) and is always unlocked for convenience when you don't wish to use your car.
